LIFE GOES ON …
Once we were free to fly,
Now we are birds in a zoo.
The stars which seemed to be in lakhs,
Are now covering most of the sky.
The world that seemed unstoppable,
Suddenly came to a halt.
The clouds that were veiled by pollution,
Are now noticed and admired.
Our life stopped like a drizzle,
But the rain of virus seems endless.
It seems like a horror movie,
with No end of shock and suspense.
But like an echo in the forest,
The good old days will revert.
Yes, life goes on…
Like an inverted sand-clock,
We have to turn the tide of a tough time.
Yes, life goes on…
Like gravity pulls down everything,
The virus too will fall.
Yes, life goes on…
Again we will become early birds,
Again we will enjoy being in our classrooms,
Again we will play with our classmates,
Again there will be fights on silly things,
Again we will attend concerts and ceremonies,
Again silence will give way to sonance.
Again we will be happy, hale, and hearty.
Yes, life goes on…
