The New Apocalypse
Everything turned bleak…
Darkness disseminated…
To teach us a lesson,
Who conspired ?
To compel us to self-introspect,
By creating an apocalypse.
To teach us not to despair,
To show us the good
Inside ourselves.
The Government dawdled,
News agendas debated…
People rose themselves,
Helped each other,
And set examples
To raise spirits and offer hope.
The annihilation in the past,
Tore us apart,
Destroyed the planet…
The new apocalypse
Bringing us together…
