A Test For Humanity

When the year 2020 finally came along, the whole world rejoiced that they had
a whole new year to look forward to, reach new goals and fondly remember
later. No one, except for may be the most intelligent ones on this small planet
might have guessed what was to come. The optimistic expectations of virtually
everyone came crashing down when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived on the
scene. People were in a situation never seen before in a century! This was surely

a once-in-a lifetime event to experience.

But that was months ago, when the virus had just arrived, everyone was losing their
minds and everyone was eager for the pandemic to end. More importantly, the
pandemic isn’t over yet and it is believed that it won’t be over in the foreseeable
future. Talking about the future, things are certainly looking very optimistic right
now. Governments are working day and night to create vaccines and distributing
them to everyone, schools are reopening after months of online teaching (albeit
with varying degrees of success) and economists have predicted that the world
will surely bounce back economically once the pandemic is over.

This pandemic is a test of humanity that we can pass, but not alone. We need
to collect the good things and beat this crisis together. When we finally reach
normalcy, recovery will follow automatically and the gears of life will start
gathering speed and finally, we will be ok, nothing more, nothing less.
