The Longing
Waking up without bothering about
Stuffing breakfast into the mouth.
Lying around in pajamas all day.
Burning a finger while pretending to be a chef.
Staring at the wall thinking absolutely nothing.
Spending some quality time with our loved ones
Catching up with old friends on video calls.
Learning to survive with limited supplies.
Watching some old movies and dramas.
Praying everything and everybody gets better and we can
Once again bounce back to our “old normal.”

Precautions
No one knew that there will be COVID soon;
And we have to wash our hands always;
In the morning, evening, and noon.
Social distancing is like our daily chores;
Wearing mask we cannot miss
Need to keep always in mind
Not keep our hands at mouth or nose;
Always try to be at your home,
Spent time with family, not at google chrome;
Don’t forget to wear gloves and a face mask;
While going out for walking, talking, or doing any task.
Always keep your hands sanitized,
Else COVID angrily will be looking at your eyes;
These precautions are safe and pure;
Don’t forget that the precautions are always better than cure.
