Hope, The Saviour

Life was fast paced, circling around Me, Mine and I

The bloated egos, the mad rush and the big goals to draw by
Until everything suddenly stopped, the hue and cry slowed down

The whole world came to a standstill as Corona came to town.

It has put our resilience to test, a big question to mankind

The deeds, the sown seeds, is there a rewind?

Now, all is quiet and there is a hallucinating peace found
Confinement, frustration, helplessness; agony still lurking around.

Real celebrations seem afar, faded memories bring a smile
Endurance, trust and faith, is desired all the while.

Throw open your arms, allow love and generosity to rise
Be courageous, determined, stand headstrong and wise.

Time to think deep, time to introspect right
Dig deep in your hearts, feel the presence of the divine light.

Shout to the world, this is just a tide
Spread the affirmation far and wide.

Don’t give up hope, the end is in sight
If we all stick together, we shall win the fight

I just want to drown in these pensive thoughts

Let hope, transform, the solution sought.
