It will not be wrong to say that the year that has just passed by threw
the greatest curveball before mankind. However, it’s amidst the most
bitter trials that we realise our limitless potential and this is exactly what
found manifestation during this pandemic time. Heroism was redefined,
differences melted and the world came as one in the larger interest of
humanity.
Kudos to the relentless efforts of the government, health care warriors and
the scientists that today, India has emerged as a role model for the rest of
the world in the collective fight against Covid 19. Having said that, the
unsung heroes during these hard times have been the teaching fraternity
who showed tremendous grit to reciprocate to the most unexpected test by
fire by coming out with innovative strategies to reach out to every student.
This successful stint with online teaching has sowed the seeds of the concept
of blended teaching, which is here to stay as the take away from the Covid
time, ushering in a new era in the field of education laid out in the New
Education Policy by the government of India.
As we emerge from the turbulent weather unscathed, taking cues for a
better life, my best wishes to everyone for the remarkable journey ahead.
